History of BMChanBM Chan International Enterprises Ltd. was established in 1985 and BM Chan International Cosmetology College was established in May 1988. The founder of this school is Monita Chan. Monita is a highly accomplished individual. She realized that the standard of training had to be immensely improved; with this in mind, she set herself to a very difficult task to continuously improve the skills and training provided by her school. She went back to the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London, England and upgraded her techniques, which she then introduced in British Columbia. To name a few, she trained with Pivot Point, Toni & Guy's, Martin Parsons, and Cecilia Johnson. An individual who has made the greatest impression on Monita is Vivienne MacKinder, with whom Monita extensively trained with. Monita is highly motivated and progressive; she sets a high standard for herself and her students. BM Chan is a registered and accredited trade school as per the requisite set by the Government of British Columbia. It is also registered with Immigration Canada to accept overseas students for Hair, Esthetics, Nail and Brush-up courses for BC Examination. The school's premise is located at 3002 Kingsway in Vancouver, B.C. It’s 6000 sq. ft. building houses a theory classroom, professional hair, esthetics and nail stations.
