Q:      Who can attend this Diploma Course?

A:      Anyone who has the passion to be a medical esthetics professional can attend. But for dermal fillers and botox injection, only registered nurses and medical doctors can provide the services and for estheticians must work under the supervision of a licensed doctor.  

Q:      Can overseas medical professionals (such as but not limited to registered nurses, medical doctors or other medical professionals) attend the dermal filler and botox injection course?

A:      Yes, the candidate has to submit his or her qualification to us for evaluation. Immigration Canada may have rules and guidelines for non-residents.

Q:      Can you show me some statistics and evidence for this promising carrier?

A:      Americans spent over $12 billion on cosmetic procedures last year. The ASAPS (American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery) reported 10.2 Million Cosmetic Procedures in 2009. Since the Aesthetic Society started collecting multi-specialty procedural statistics in1997, they reported the overall number of cosmetic procedures has increased 162%. The most frequently performed non-surgical procedure was Botox injections and the most popular surgical procedure was breast augmentation. Top non-surgical cosmetic procedures among men and women in 2009 was as following:

A:        300 hours, 12 weeks for full-time students and 25 weeks for part-time students

A: $10,000

Q: Is the above diploma course eligible for student loans, government grants, or EI support to pay tuition fee?

A.: Yes, BM Chan is an accredited cosmetology college that offers beauty education, training and diploma courses in hair, aesthetic, nail and body. Qualified students can finance their study by Student Loan, EI, WCB or government grants.  We are also registered with Immigration Canada to accept international students.

Q: What certificates can we get after graduation?

A: Graduates will receive BM Chan International Cosmetology College Medical Esthetician Diploma. The Canadian Association of Medical Spas and Esthetic Surgeons (www.camacs.ca) will also issue certificates to qualified students.

Q: Where is the location of classes?

A: Theory and Practice classes are flexible time and hours during the weekdays, evenings and weekends to accommodate students with various working hours.

Q: How many students per class?

A: Practice and hands-on training groups are 10 – 12 people to ensure each student to have quality training time and opportunity to work with the instructor.

Q: When should I register for the course?

A: Students should consider the financing processing time. For students loan the processing time is approximately 8 weeks and for EI the processing time is approximately 12 weeks.
